Edinburgh Mental Health Service

We provide a key support service to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties throughout Edinburgh.

Our support workers have vast experience working with people who have struggled with mental health, and are familiar with the issues and stigma that can come with it.

We provide support to over 200 people at any one time. We support people in their own homes, with levels of support ranging from a few hours a week to 24/7 support.

Within the service we provide supported accommodation at Comely Green.  The majority of people who are supported here have spent a significant amount of time in long-term hospital care.  Each person we support has their own flat and our support enables them to live as independently as possible.

What do we do

We will take the time to talk to you, and based on what you tell us, we will produce a tailored support plan that concentrates on positive outcomes over a set period of time.

How we can help you

You will be assigned a support worker who can offer advice, guidance and support on a varied range of topics including relationships, budgeting, health, employment, training and benefits.

Your social worker will carry out regular reviews on your support plan. Reviews are an important part of the service we provide as it gives you the chance to reflect on previous months and recognise your achievements.

Reviews also give you the chance to tell us how well you feel we are supporting you, and what we could do to improve on our service.

I am so lucky to have LinkLiving supporting me. The staff are all very good and my support worker has been helping me to do more things out in the community and at home. I couldn't ask for anything more.
