Joe works for the Edinburgh Young Persons' Service helping to deliver independent living skills training for young people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
Malika works for the Edinburgh Young Persons' Service as a Support Worker helping young people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness to build the life they want.
Islay is responsible for raising awareness and funds for people in Central Scotland who have been affected by trauma and disadvantage.
Natalie works with young people who are furthest from a ‘positive destination’ through programmes like Step On Up and Moving On Up. Through this programme, they focus on improving their mental health and developing the skills needed to move on to a ‘positive destination’, such training, college, volunteering or employment.
Kirstin is a self-help coach with the Fife Carers' Self-Help Project. It is common for carers to be affected by stress, anxiety, or low mood as a result of providing emotional and practical support to someone close to them. Kirstin helps carers to develop the skills needed to better manage stress and take care of their own mental health.
Michael is the Team Leader for Steps To Resilience, a trauma-informed skills development programme which equips young people who have experienced trauma and severe disadvantage with the practical skills to manage their mental health and increase their resilience to cope with life's challenges.
Meet Arran and Skye. Arran is a #LinkLivingLegend and long term supporter of LinkLiving. Most recently he climbed Mt Kilimanjaro on the staircase at his work, raising an incredible £3,870 through the Kiltwalk! We are so grateful to Arran for his support and enthusiasm.
