LinkLiving's summer trip success

Members and volunteers from LinkLiving’s social cafes in Torryburn and Rosyth visited Dundee on 14 June for the Older Persons’ Service summer trip.

Activities included a trip to the Verdant Works followed by a three-course meal at Invercarse Hotel with views overlooking the Tay. Despite the windy weather a good time was had by all.

Irene Blackburn, Involvement & Participation Manager at LinkLiving said: “We’re delighted that the summer trip was a success. The older people really enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay Rotary Club for sponsoring the trip, and Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, which helped finance the coach travel.”

Doug Richie, President Elect of Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay Rotary Club, added: “It was a pleasure to provide a day out for the members of LinkLiving’s social cafes. We raised the funds through our annual golf day, which took place in May.”
